Today on our 2016 Honda HRV we're going to be taking a look at the 20 by 48 CURT cargo carrier, part number C18110. On this cargo carrier it features a steel mesh floor which is going to help keep it clean because that dirt and debris is going to fall through and won't be able to collect as easily on the bottom side of your cargo. Then here around the edge it's got this nice lip that's got some pre-drilled holes in locations all the way around it. That's going to help to make sure that you can tie your cargo down and keep it nice and secure on the carrier. Now let's take some measurements. First will be our ground clearance here at the back of the carrier. At the bottom of that bolt it's right about 14-3/4". more

Today on our 2016 Honda HR-V we're going to be taking a look at the 20 x 48 Surco Cargo Carrier, part number 52017. This cargo carrier features a steel mesh floor, which is going to help make sure that any dirt and debris falls through and doesnt collect here to where it can get on the bottom of your cargo. It also features a 300 pound capacity, and its got these braces that go across to help give it that capacity. It has a 300 pound capacity but this vehicle has a Class 1 hitch on it so you want to be sure to make sure that whatever you put on here doesnt exceed that tongue weight rating for the Class 1 hitch. This carrier also has a nice wall all the way around the outside. Its got plenty of room in order to put any cargo tie downs on to make sure that your cargo doesnt go anywhere. Today on this 2010 Honda CR-V, we're going to be test fitting the twenty by sixty Curt cargo carrier, part number C18150. Now the carry capacity of this cargo carrier is going to be five hundred pounds. We have this mesh floor here, which is nice because it makes it easy to clean. It also has this railing all around the cargo carrier which can serve as a tie-down point by either ratchet straps or your bungee cords. I'm going to go ahead and give you some measurements now. Measuring from the bumper to the outer rail here, that's going to be about twenty-nine-and-a-half inches that we've added to the vehicle. For ground clearance to this point here, this edge, that's fifteen-and-a-half. Then the closest point, which will be the inner rail, that's going to be about eight-and-a-half inches. Now the exhaust on this vehicle's going to be on the passenger side facing directly towards the cargo carrier. more

Next, we'll do our ground clearance to the bottom of this bolt here. It's about 15 1/2 inches. Then our closest point to this edge here is going to be about 8 1/2 inches. more

Today on our 2016 Honda CRV, we've got out the Curt 20" by 60" Folding Cargo Carrier, we're doing a test fit on it. This cargo carrier has a capacity of 500 pounds, and they designed it for use in 2" hitches, the part number on it is C18251. Now this carrier has got kind of the smaller size expanded steel, so you're going to have room for dirt and debris and stuff to fall down and through, but it's also going to give us good support even if we're transporting some smaller items. We've got a raised rail all the way around the outside, this offers good front-to-back, and side-to-side support. It's going to be about 5 1/2" tall, and it's also going to give us some good connection points for our tie-downs once we have everything loaded up. As far as ground clearance goes, we've got about 15 1/4". Overall our carrier adds about 33 1/2" to the back of the CRV. more

I'm going to go ahead and give you some measurements now. The first is going to be the distance added to the vehicle once the cargo carrier is installed. Now I'm going to go ahead and measure from the bumper, since that's the furthest point out. So from this rail here, it looks to be about twenty-six and a half inches. For ground clearance, it's going to be around eleven inches. more

Today in this 2013 Honda Odyssey we're going to be test fitting the 20x48 Surco cargo carrier for 1-1/4 inch hitches, Part Number 52017. If you take a look here, we actually have a nice open mesh flooring here, which is going to make it a lot easier to clean, once you remove what it is you've been hauling. It also has these bars here, all the way around the cargo carrier, which will provide nice tie down points to secure your cargo while you're driving. The exhaust is actually on the passenger side and faces down, so you're not going to have to worry about any heat-sensitive materials while you are driving. So now I'm going to go ahead and give you some measurements. It will give you a better idea of how much distance has been added to the vehicle, once you install this cargo carrier. I'm going to go ahead and measure from the bumper. So to this point here, that's going to be about 23-3/4 inches. For ground clearance, it's going to be about 12 inches. And for the closest point to the bumper, which is going to be right about here, it's going to be about 2 inches. Now, of course, with nothing in the cargo carrier we have complete access to the rear hatch of our vehicle to get anything that we need. more

Today in this 2013 Honda Odyssey we're going to be test fitting the 21 by 55 Rola Cargo Carrier for inch and a quarter hitches. Part number 59507. First off I'd like to point out it has this open grate bottom here which makes it a lot easier to clean once you take off what you've been carrying.
